| About The Finger Lakes Finns Constitution and Bylaws [~12kb PDF]
The Finger Lakes Finns meetings are at 1 p.m., at the Newfield Fire Hall, every month on the third Sunday, except June and July. However, we do customarily get together for Juhannus in June. The meetings usually begin with a dish-to-pass dinner followed by the business meeting and a cultural program. Programs often include entertainment, Finnish music, and speakers on various aspects of the Finnish people and culture. The Finger Lakes Finns also provides a newsletter and group travel opportunities for members. The Finger Lakes Finns annually offers a scholarship to encourage the academic endeavors of a prospective college student of Finnish descent from the Finger Lakes area. |
