Massive, moving monstrous
mass...cold unyielding
Harbinger prophesying
new worlds, hidden
stories within
ice castles....

Deep blue
secret rooms
refreshing waters
running ice...

Can you hide your age?

Did you form
the ice bridge
between broken
continent Pangea?

Little people walked
your face
following
the Mammoth
whose bones
ooze from
kettle bogs

What a marvelous
monster you are!
Beauty from the
beginning of time...
compressed in
your cold clothes,
glittering, shimmering
slow dance
gouging the face
of earth
forever scarring
her mantle
filling the holes
with melting
crystal...
smiling at your
handiwork, melting
in your love!

Does God give you
a shove on occasion,
cause you to groan
to move your cold soul?
Mysterious, glorious
Mass of Ice.
