Ode to Dandelions
By Lisa H. dC–Koski

Dente de lion,
Tooth of lion,
You have a gorgeous yellow glow
As all around lawns and fields you grow.

A bright greeting
After winter’s drab season.

Persistent plant
Bright yellow here, there, everywhere!

You’re undeserving of gardeners’ scorn.
Dandelions, remain my lawn’s adorn!
