The school house in Dist. #1 has just been painted by A. Moisio of Crumtown.

John Rajala and family attended the party at Samuel Koski's on Dawson Hill. A party was held at John Rajala's.

Fall, 1922
Fred Larue and Fred Launonen have positions with the Morse Chain Works in Ithaca. Vera Launonen is home from Owego. She expects to go to New York City soon. Fred Launonen has built a bath house.

Spring and summer, 1924
Henry Hautala has rented his farm to Andrew Kannus, Jr., of Crumtown. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hautala are leaving for New York. We are sorry to have them go as they have made many friends while here. Mrs. Frank Smiley has sold her farm to a family from Crumtown by the name of Pyhtila.

Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Kannus visited in Crumtown Sunday. While coming home his horses got loose from the wagon and ran a short distance before they were caught. Andrew Kannus and John Luoma each have bought cars this year. Mrs. John Rajala has returned home after spending the winter in New York. Matt Olson and Andrew Hautala have returned to their homes after working away this winter. John Rajala has bought a new car. Victor Rajala has bought a farm here.

Fall, 1924
A ball game was held at John Rajala's Sunday by the Finns. An aged lady died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Pyhtila. John Rajala has bought the farm of Lillian Howland adjoining his farm.
