The Quilt Project
The largest fund raising activity of the Finger Lakes Finns is the annual quilt project. Each year several members decide upon a theme for the annual quilt project and hold several work sessions to produce the quilt. The quilter's handiwork always seems to exceed the design and beauty of the previous year.
Quilt raffle tickets are sold throughout the year and the quilt work --sometimes more than one piece-- is awarded to the fortunate winners at the annual Fall Festival, in September.
As mentioned in the President’s message, quilt raffle tickets will be available for distribution and sale at our meetings and several area venues. However, if you live outside of the area, and wish to purchase tickets, you may order them from Shirley Barton. If you want to purchase tickets, the price is $1 each, 6 for $5, and 15 for $10. If you would like tickets to sell, Shirley will send you some, and you can send her the money when you sell them.
